Majorca Cycle Challenge 2018

Challenge type: Bike in support of British Friends of Migdal Ohr

Destination: Spain

Runs from : 6th May 2018 to 9th May 2018

Majorca is one of the world's most renowned cycle destinations. It's no wonder that many of the world’s pro teams choose to train here off-season including Team Sky, Cannondale-Drapac, BMC and Trek-Segafredo. The mild climate, varied terrain and spectacular landscape are a major attraction for cyclists of all levels.

Over 70,000 cyclists visit the island each to ride the cycle-friendly roads and tackle some of its world-famous routes. The biggest draw is the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range which offers alpine-style climbing and dramatic scenery. It runs the length of the island and drops into the Mediterranean Sea on the north side.

During the trip, you will spend three days riding off the tourist trail across this beautiful island. Explore its spectacular coastline and timeless countryside dotted with picturesque villages, almond groves, olive terraces and citrus orchards.

  • Ride over 250km through one of the most legendary location in the world of cycling following the footsteps of all cycling pros
  • Climb the magnificent Serra de Tramuntana mountain range, reach Cap de Formentor and Sa Calobra
  • Stay in one of the Island’s top locations, Club Pollença: https://www.clubpollentia.co.uk/
