The iconic London to Paris cycle challenge with a twist! Ride from London to Paris in just 24 hours; take it on solo or as part of a relay team.
London – Newhaven: 90km / 56 miles:
Set off from Crystal Palace Park. The built up streets of south-east London soon give way to beautiful Kent countryside. Mid morning we reach the city of Rochester with its 1000 year old Norman Castle and strong links to local resident Charles Dickens. Much of the route from Rochester onwards is through small towns and villages along the edge of the North Downs, a designated ‘Area of Outstanding Beauty’.
Newhaven to Dieppe Crossing: Ferry
Dieppe – Paris: 160km / 100 miles:
Set off through the ancient port of Dieppe. We head straight into the Normandy countryside, dotted with elegant old farmhouses, quaint villages and verdant meadows. The picturesque surroundings start to become more urban as we approach the suburbs of Paris. We enter the heart of the city via the famous Bois de Boulogne. We re-group inside the park for the final stretch of cycling. From there the excitement starts to mount as we cycle along the wide Parisian boulevards towards our final destination. We cross the Seine to finish beneath the Eiffel Tower, Paris’ most iconic landmark.
